Will begonia's return next year if planted in ground?

if planting a begonia in ground will they return next year or do i need to keep them in the house?

depending on where you live, begonias can over-winter, if they are protected. i had some by my front door (southwest exposure) and they never died back (of course i am in the deep south). they may get leggy, but you can pinch them back, and off they will go again.
Reply:Depends where you live. They can't withstand freezing temperatures. If you live in an area where it freezes, you should really dig them up and pot them and put them in the house in a sunny window. They do great inside, and it's wonderful to see bright blooms in the depths of winter!
