Growing begonias?

I planted several begonias in front of my mobil home last early summer.. it looks like they are returning.. is this possible?!

Growing begonias?
YES! I have had some for 4 years now. They die back after the frost and then sprout in the spring. They are better each year too. I live in Austin, TX where it doesn't freeze hard enough to kill the roots, and I assume you are in a mild climate as well.

I was surprised and very pleased to see them come back. I keep some mulch over them in the winter just in case and they do great. Just keep slugs away using Slug-O Slug Bait and control, it's safe and works.
Reply:They may have successfully wintered over due to our mild winter and proximity to your home. consider yourself blessed.
Reply:Yes if they aren't froze to the core, they can come back year after year.good luck with them.Water them...
Reply:Cool!! They root easily in a clear container of water too. Takes about a week. Have fun!
