I have been given some gloxinia bulbs. when do i plant them .do you start them off like you would begonia bulb

gloxinia likes average to high humidity. moist, not soggy soil, dont water the leaves.feed monthly while in growth period. plant dormant tuber in 6 inch squatty pot in moist, humusy soil mix;or enclose in moist peat moss in plastic bag until roots form. tuber must rest 2-3 months after leaves yellow, needs a min temp of 65 degrees F. you can propagate by rooting leaf cuttings, stem cuttings from new growth, or with a tuber in spring, or by sowing seeds. it also likes moderate/diffuse light. the key is to make sure the tuber rests between bloomings
