Can I trim my Begonia plant?

It is suppose to be a round full plant, and I did not trim or do anything with it all winter (except water it of course!) and now the stems are all long and it's not in a bundle anymore.

Would trimming the long stems help this plant regain it's round shape? I'm a little nervous to just go ahead and trim it all...

Thanks!

Can I trim my Begonia plant?
yes you can trim it back but just don't trim it back any further than 2-3 inches from the base of the plant that should promote new growth better.....
