I received a begonia last month, now all of the leaves are gone along with the flowers.?

Is it ok to cut it back? Will it grow back if I do that? It's kinda ugly right now!

Reply:sounds like you might have drowned it. they need very little water.cut it back about a half in. from the dirt and put it in a sunny window and let it dry out some. it might grow back, but it will take some time.
Reply:how often are you watering it? Sounds like it may be to often.





and yes cutting it back should encourage new growth. :)
